libjackrabbit-java software package provides content repository implementation (JCR API), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjackrabbit-java
libjackrabbit-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjackrabbit-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjackrabbit-java *
You will get with libjackrabbit-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
